Wemontashee Singers : Retrouver ses racines pour guérir son âme
In 1994, a newly-founded quartet of traditional singers and drummers first took on the name Masko-Pirecic (Bird-bear in Attikamekw).
The group was later renamed as Wemotashee Singers, from the name of their home community, Wemotashee, in the St. Maurice Elisapie Isaac region).

Elisapie Isaac - Taïma
Elisapie Isaac was adopted at birth by an Inuit family. Elisapie is a filmmaker, singer and songwriter from Salluit in Nunavik. She speaks Inuktitut, French and English. Elisapie Isaac and Alain Auger make up the musical duo Taima.

Pinaskin is a group that came together on Manawan reserve. At first, Pinaskin played rock music strongly influenced by white culture. The group has played in bars in the region and even recorded an album as a group.

Don Patrick Martin
Don Patrick Martin lives in Kahnawake. His passion for music goes back to his childhood: folk, jazz and classical music are part of the daily life in his family. Later, he is dedicated to the music of his people. He plays water drum, crécelle (noise maker) and traditional flute.
Don Patrick Martin is today an accomplished classical pianist. During the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus, he released in Europe an album called, "So. this is America." His latest album, "Impressions iroquoises" is a long impressionist poem for piano, inspired by Iroquois music tradition.

Samuel Tremblay
Samuel Tremblay is an Algonquin in his twenties. His musical journey started when he participated in a poem competition in Amos. He won the first prize and suggested to the organizers to rap it. His performance was acclaimed with enthusiasm.
Having lived in Pikogan, where his Algonquin grandmother, until 12 years old, raised him his texts reflects his roots and what he is living today as a young person. He works currently in a pizzeria in Amos. He has been invited to participate to the First Peoples' Festival.
