Pierre Thibeault
Pierre Thibeault is an original architect. This white man has always been directly in touch with natives. This did not stop him of being interested, with a communicative passion, in Université Laval, where he did a part of his studies.
Pierre Thibeault presented a thesis at the Planning Commission of Université Laval on the institution's planning. In his approach, Pierre Thibeault wishes that the new plan would encourage long term grid of the campus to urban life.

Nicole O'Bomsawin
Nicole O'Bomsawin, of Abenaki origin, studied anthropology and was interested ever since in dances. She did research with elders to find the forgotten songs and dances.
In 1984 in Odanak, she founded the dance troup Mikwobait, who has the mission of ensuring the transmission of traditional dances.
