Marie Belleau
Born of an Inuit mother and of a Quebecer father, Marie lives far from her hometown, Iqualuit, since 10 years. Her father, who left the Southern region several decades ago to open a hardware store in Iqualuit, met Marie's mother.
When she was 10 years old, her mother moved down South so to let her daughter study. Now, Marie studies at University in International and Language Studies. She currently speaks French, English and Inuktitut, mostly thanks to her mother. In her early twenties, she lives well and seems to be adapted. In the moment, Marie does not know what she wants to do. She would like to return in her community.

Thomasie Mangiok
Thomasie is an Inuit in his twenties. While he was still living up North, he met an Atikamekw coming from Wemotaci for an exchange program. They fall in love and together they decide to leave. Living in Montreal for 1 year, Thomasie is already a father of a little baby.
Like his girlfriend, he is studying graphic design. The first time he arrived in Montreal, all sorts of things traumatised him. Thomasie kept his native language, which he used as often as possible.
