Corporation Waskahegen
Founded in 1972, Corporation Waskahegen provides financial support to thousands of natives who wish to acquire a home. The organization also provides architectural and housing management services. It administers the Fonds Waskahegen, a program that encourages job creation initiatives and economic development.

Martin Dubé
Martin is responsible of organizing workshops at the Mantokasowin Centre. He is in charge of welcoming the youth on site, ensuring that interveners and clients of the centre are able to be touch with each other.
He is among the students of Manawan who asked the Band Council to give them funds to start their business. When the centre opened, he was hired to assist Élysabeth Newashais. He finished his correspondence studies in business start-up.

Régis Niquay
Régis Niquay is an Attikamekw of Manawan who owns a business called Hors-Piste. He offers skidoo trips on trails of the region. He studied to be a tourist guide and works in this area for 10 years.
His statement of intent has been approved and his business proposal has been submitted. Régis is waiting for his grants, but his next winter is already booked! He thinks of offering summer trips that would be on four wheels, on quad!

Élysabeth Newashais
Élysabeth manages the Mantokasowin Centre, jointly launched with the Native Commercial Credit Corporation (NACCC). She is in charge of establishing relations with the interveners, who will enable young entrepreneurs to develop their projects.
She also has to find experts in order to guide people who wish to go back to school or to work. Martin Dubé and her are the only ones working at the Centre, their colleagues are working voluntarily.

Darryl Moar & Luca Moar
Darryl & Luca Moar had the idea of starting a business that makes bark canoes. Working with Élysabeth Newashaish and Martin Dubé, they developed their business plan.
They worked at the workshop of the community's high school before opening their own. They do their office work at the Mantokasowin Centre.
They are fully dedicated to the Rabasca Project, which is their company's name.

Jean Vincent
Of Huron origin and with a diploma as an accountant, Jean Vincent was formerly working for the federal government in Ottawa before being nominated as Director of the Economic development Corporation of Wendake.
He is both the board's president of the First Nations Venture Capital Corporation of Quebec, executive director of the Native Commercial Credit Corporation and president of the most important Native Pension Fund in Canada. He is the one to talk to about the current trends of the native economy.
