The decision of saying YES or NO to a proposal that puts at stake the future of a nation has heavy consequences. Nation members must be well advised and must debate this question in order to reach a conclusion.
Arguments from opposite parties can be both as convincing and rational. In a democratic world, we rely on vote and the most number of votes clearly shows which option reflects the nation's will.
Deganawidah, the founder of the Great Peace Act said before the Europeans arrived here: "No anger, nor fear must take place in your mind and all your words and actions must be tempered by a calm thinking. (.) Most of all, you must consider the well-being of your people, not only the current generation, but also the upcoming ones - those of the future Nation".
