Everything is to be built. Everything is to be done! The building heritage of native communities can only be renovated! Head offices of band councils, museums, hospitals, cultural and community centers, commercial or business buildings, health centers. The list goes on.
Nowadays, communities' decision-makers adopt architecture inspired of native culture to carry out their building projects. The period of square-shaped buildings, unsightly, without soul and cultural trait is slowly coming to an end. Architects do more research and show their creativity and imagination, combined with their knowledge, to design buildings that respect and even surpass these aspirations. They succeed in conciliating modern building code constraints and adaptating new building materials to integrate native traditional materials.
Final results are often quite impressive. In these buildings, tradition is mixed harmoniously with modernity; aestheticism is combined with ergonomics and functional efficiency. Citizens of these communities are proud and very satisfied.
Building our buildings according to our culture is allowing community members to live in harmony in communities that represent them.
