Overview Building the bridge
Building the bridge

Fichier audio Narration (bridge.mp3, 879 KB)

Of all times, men and women of different geographical and cultural origins got married. for better and for worse! Before, reasons were often political or economical. Today, emotional and cultural enrichment is however more obvious, but the relationship always demands a few adjustments.

Often, the meeting of two people from different cultural background is unforeseen and unexpected. It is a pure coincidence. But love is stronger than anything else! Who can intervene between two people who had mutual love at first sight! And when these individuals overcome their differences and benefit from them instead of being blocked by them, they form one of the strongest and fulfilled couples.

Children from these mixed couples receive cultural knowledge from these 2 different nations, making them different. Some tend to consider it as a threat to their culture. Others, on the opposite, are fascinated by these strange beings with mixed features and consider them most valuable. These children sometimes consider themselves from one nation and sometimes from the other. The two inner poles meet, fight and. find harmony. Finally, they discover that 1+1 often equals more than 2!

One thing's for sure: historically, exclusion, racism and a closed mind to differences have never been factors in a community's success and development.
