"Act now for the future" is a key expression for the delegates of First nations' youths councils. They get organized to guarantee positive and sustainable developments for their generation and for those they will create and guide.
They are between 15 and 30 years old. Some are just coming out of childhood, while others are old enough to be parents. All are invited to join the movement to build a peaceful world, respectful of human rights.
Their favourite tools are what their elders taught them: holistic vision of the human being, where the mind the heart, the brain and the body are undividable; attention to ideas and to the needs of their peers; alliances with other non-native youth movements; a solid education and an active involvement within their families, their communities and their nations.
