Overview Helping each other
Helping each other

Fichier audio Narration (helping.mp3, 606 KB)

Helping is opening our arms and heart to our friends, our family, but also to strangers. Helping each other is breeding generosity to find the strength to continue on our road. In the circle of life, everybody has its place: women, men, stronger ones and weaker ones, elders and babies! We are all interconnected.

If any of us collapses, everyone suffers. Through Native Friendship Centers, several programs and initiatives are being structured and organised that help to create relationships. Their success becomes solution models for other communities.

An Anichinabe wise woman once said, the qualities that help the community to grow strong are: trust, courage, respect, dignity, sharing, kindness and, of course, friendship. Successful native aid projects proved that she was right!
